Reporting the installation of a prostitution vehicle

Would you like to set up or provide a prostitution vehicle? Then you must report this to the competent authority in addition to your existing permit.

Prostitution vehicles are vehicles that people use to offer sexual services. Every person who provides such a prostitution vehicle requires a permit. If the operator of the prostitution vehicle wishes to provide it more frequently in the same jurisdiction, he or she must also give 2 weeks' notice. This applies if the vehicle is to be used with the following frequency

• on more than 2 consecutive days
• several times a month

You may only set up a prostitution vehicle in such a way that you do not endanger anyone. Special protection must be provided for

• the persons working in the vehicle, for example
  • by providing sufficient privacy
  • from violence and exploitation
• customers and clients
• Residents, for example from noise pollution
• Residents and neighbors
• Children and young people, for example from contact with prostitution

This influences the time and place at which you are allowed to set up the prostitution vehicle.

If you are unable to guarantee protection, the competent authority may prohibit you from setting up the prostitution vehicle.

Please note that you may require further permits in addition to the permit for the prostitution business or are subject to registration.

• Catering law
• trade law
• building law
• water law
• Immission control law

• First name and surname of the vehicle owner
• Full name of the operator of the prostitution vehicle
• Vehicle or vessel registration number
• Copy of the permit for the provision of the prostitution vehicle
• Copies of the registration or alias certificates of the prostitute or sex worker who will be working in the prostitution vehicle
• Copies of the agreements concluded with the prostitutes, sex workers or sex workers

• You have a valid permit to operate a prostitution vehicle.
• You are at least 18 years old.
• The vehicle displayed meets the minimum requirements for prostitution vehicles. These include
  • a sufficiently large interior
  • adequate interior fittings
  • adequate sanitary facilities
  • a valid operating license
  • the vehicle is in a technically serviceable condition
  • the doors must meet certain requirements:
    • they must be able to be opened from the inside at all times
    • help must be available at all times via technical devices
    • they must meet the general requirements necessary for the protection of the prostitutes or sex workers working there in terms of equipment and quality

The installation of the prostitution vehicle must be notified two weeks prior to installation.
