Description
Pregnancy conflict counselling centres advise every woman and man on questions of sex education, contraception and family planning as well as on all questions relating to pregnancy.
In order to set up a pregnancy conflict counselling centre, you must submit an application and meet certain requirements.

Proof of the required qualifications of the counselling staff of the counselling centre
First, informal application for recognition of a pregnancy conflict counseling center. Further documents/evidence/forms shall be communicated to the applicant by the competent recognition authority.
Prerequisites
For recognition as a counselling centre for pregnancy conflict counselling, you must meet the following requirements:
- You must ensure that there are sufficiently qualified staff to provide professional advice
- They must ensure that other specialists (psychological, legal, socio-educational/social work, medical or specialist (gynaecology and obstetrics)) can be called in at short notice to carry out the counselling.
- They must cooperate with all bodies that provide public and private assistance to mother and child
- They must not be organisationally or economically linked to any body where abortions are carried out and that no abortions are carried out on the premises of the counselling centre.
- They must ensure that the consultations are carried out in accordance with the provisions of the Pregnancy Conflict Act and in compliance with the relevant provisions of the Criminal Code (§§ 218 to 219 b).

Procedure
In order to be recognised as a counselling centre for pregnancy conflict counselling, you must submit an application.
- For this purpose, you can contact an employee at the office responsible for you by telephone.
- There you will find all information about the necessary application documents and the legal provisions as well as the corresponding forms for your application.
- The application must be signed in a legally binding manner by the person who can be held liable for the counselling centre.
- You must submit the complete application with the attachments to the office responsible for you.
- After completion of the examination by the application office responsible for you, you will receive a letter of recognition.
- The notification contains instructions with information on what you can do if you do not agree with the decision.
