You can inspect the matrimonial property register and/or request a simple or certified copy.
Description
The matrimonial property register records the matrimonial property regimes agreed between the spouses, i.e. separation of property and community of property or their annulment. Anyone is permitted to inspect the register. You can request a copy of the entry. This can also be certified. If there is no entry for the requested person, you can obtain a corresponding certificate (negative notification).

Procedure
If you would like to inspect the matrimonial property register or request a copy of the entry, you can contact the competent local court. If there is an entry, you can inspect it on site and/or obtain a copy from the matrimonial property register. If there is no entry, you can apply for a corresponding negative notification.

Costs
Inspection is free of charge.
A fee of 10.00 euros (simple copy according to No. 17000 KV GNotKG) or 20.00 euros (certified copy according to No. 17001 KV GNotKG) is charged for the issue of copies or certificates.
