Support for companies during the coronavirus pandemic

If you are an entrepreneur suffering from the economic consequences of the novel coronavirus, you may be eligible for various support options. To find out about the options, you can contact the Federal Ministry of Economics, among others.

The Federal Ministry of Economics provides information on its website about the available instruments and has set up a hotline for business-related questions about the coronavirus.

Possible support includes, for example

• Loans and other financial assistance for short-term liquidity needs,
• guarantees,
• short-time working allowance and
• other instruments.

Small and medium-sized enterprises, micro-enterprises and solo self-employed persons can also receive support.

The Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW) also provides information on loan options for affected companies. If you have any questions about short-time working allowance, you can contact the Federal Employment Agency.
