State vocational schools

The Hessian Ministry for Social Affairs and Integration is the school authority for the state vocational schools in North and South Hesse, which train young people with disabilities in cooperation with the respective vocational training center.

The vocational training centers and the state vocational schools have the joint task of providing vocational and social support for young people with disabilities. They promote the individual development of young people who can only successfully complete vocational training with the special support of the vocational training center and the state vocational school. The young people receive comprehensive support and advice in the development of their personality from a team of trainers, teachers and social education workers, psychologists and physiotherapists. Goals and support are developed and planned individually with each trainee.
