Recognition of specialist, specialization or additional training for physicians in Hesse

If doctors would like to complete their further training (specialist, specialisation, additional training), they must register with the Medical Association and apply for appropriate "recognition". Depending on the desired qualification, the doctor will take an exam for this purpose and will receive a certificate after passing it.

The responsible department is the department "Medical Training" of the State Medical Association of Hesse in Frankfurt. The responsible clerk decides according to the desired qualification.
