Sports promotion in the area of disabled sports

Institutional funding can be granted to sports associations as well as sports associations/districts and clubs for individual sustainable (model) projects of particular importance for disabled sports. This is done by means of start-up funding within the framework of the available budget after a sports-related examination by the Hessian Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Sport, Health and Care. There is no legal entitlement to funding.

The application must demonstrate that the situation of disabled sports in Hesse will be sustainably improved.

An objection to a grant notification may be lodged with the competent authority within one month of notification.

Submission of an informal application to the Hessian Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Sport, Health and Care. This must be accompanied by a detailed project description and a cost and financing plan. The cost and financing plan must show the expected costs, the planned forms and any commitments already made to finance the project (own funds, third-party funds). The application will be subject to a sports-related review by the Hessian Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Sport, Health and Care.
