    The collection and disposal of waste and thus also of household waste / residual waste from private households as well as other disposal waste from other areas of origin is the task of the municipalities belonging to the district, the independent cities and the rural districts.

    Description

    The collection and disposal of waste from private households and other disposal waste from other areas of origin is the responsibility of the public waste disposal authorities (the municipalities belonging to the district, the independent cities and the rural districts). Regulations on the applicable waste disposal system and individual provisions are laid down in the statutes. This includes, among other things, information on waste charges, waste containers (prescribed size of the garbage can, ordering option), waste calendars (collection intervals, route plans of pollutant mobiles), collection and delivery systems for various waste (e.g. green waste, e-waste, paper), disposal of biowaste, bulky waste disposal and the types of waste approved for disposal in the grey bin.
