List of installers - Registration

If you want to carry out work on the manufacture, modification, repair and maintenance of electrical, gas and water supply systems, you must register in the installer register of the respective utility company.

Registration in the installer register may be limited in time. You will be issued with an identity card for the registration.

To the relevant local utility company or network operator.

The following must be submitted with the application:

• Application for the conclusion of the contract,
• a list of tools, measuring instruments and technical requirements for contract installers,
• Crafts card,
• Proof of business registration,
• certificate of competence (master craftsman's certificate or engineering certificate),
• Proof of business/liability insurance,
• if applicable, certificates of participation in a current training course.

The application for the conclusion of an installer contract (gas and water) or for entry in the installer directory (electrical) is available from the local utility company or network operator.

• Completed master craftsman training or
  Completed engineering training (Bachelor, Master, Diploma) in a field corresponding to the trade or
  Separate certificate of competence
• Entry in the trade register
• Business registration
• Business/liability insurance
• Proof of the required tools, measuring equipment and technical regulations

Local water supply statutes, if applicable

The entry in an installer directory is always based on the conclusion of an installer contract for gas and water and the application for entry in the installer directory for electricity. As a rule, this always happens at the network operator at the headquarters of the standing trade.

There are usually no fees. If in doubt, check with the utility/network operator

If an employee is to be entered in the list of installers and perform the task of the responsible specialist for the company, the employment contract must also be submitted for him. In addition, the employee must be entered in the register of craftsmen.
