Authorization to use the designation "Agricultural Accountancy Office"

If you wish to use the additional designation "Agricultural Accountancy Office", you must apply for this.

As a tax consultant, tax agent, lawyer and established European lawyers, you can be awarded the additional title of "agricultural accountant" if you can demonstrate comprehensive specialist knowledge in tax and business management matters in the field of agriculture and forestry.

Application for the award of the designation "Farm Accountancy Office"

A separate platform has been developed for online applications. On the so-called service platform, you can submit your applications electronically and much more! You are welcome to get your own impression of the application in advance without registering first. Use the simulation for this. To be able to use the online application to its full extent, you must first register for the online application procedure.

You must provide evidence of your special technical expertise in an oral examination before a specialist committee set up by the Chamber of Tax Consultants.

If you can prove your special expertise through relevant training and have been advising accounting agricultural and forestry businesses for at least 3 years, you can apply for exemption from the oral examination.

The following persons/groups of persons and companies are entitled to use the designation "Landwirtschaftliche Buchstelle":

• Partnership companies may use the designation "Landwirtschaftliche Buchstelle" as an addition to their name if at least one partner is entitled to use this designation.
• Tax consulting companies may use the designation "Landwirtschaftliche Buchstelle" as an addition to the company name or to the name if at least one legal representative is authorized to use this designation as an addition to the professional title.
• Associations, corporations under public law and associations of persons are also entitled to use the designation "Landwirtschaftliche Buchstelle" if the head of the accountancy firm is entitled to use this designation.

The cost of the procedure is 180.00 euros.
