Monument Book - Inspect
Description
The entry of a property in the monument book is for the information of the public. (Whether something is a cultural monument, on the other hand, is already determined by § 2 of the Hessian Monument Protection Act itself: Every object that meets the criteria listed there is a cultural monument).
If you want to know whether your building is a cultural monument of particular importance, you can inspect the monument book. Depending on the city or district, this is already possible on the Internet for some areas: https://denkxweb.denkmalpflege-hessen.de
Anyone is permitted to inspect the monument book.
