Description
You can receive supplementary rehabilitation benefits in addition to medical rehabilitation. You can also receive supplementary benefits without having previously undergone rehabilitation. Your health insurance fund will grant you supplementary rehabilitation benefits
- according to medical necessity and
- on a doctor's orders.
Supplementary benefits include, for example
- Patient training for the chronically ill, such as:
- outpatient asthma training programs,
- obesity training programs,
- rehabilitation sports and functional training,
- socio-medical aftercare measures for chronically ill or seriously ill children and young people.
- The services must be medically necessary and prescribed by a doctor.
