Transmit contact details of a price reporter to the Market Transparency Unit

Would you like to use the services of a price reporting system to fulfill your obligation to report price changes as the holder of price sovereignty (PHI)? If so, you must immediately send details of the price reporting system to the Market Transparency Unit for Fuels (MTS-K).

You are obliged to report to the Market Transparency Unit for Fuels (MTS-K) if you have price-setting authority, i.e. if you set the prices as:

• Mineral oil company that sets the fuel prices, or
• the operator of a filling station who sets the prices themselves

If you cannot or do not wish to report prices yourself, commission a price reporter. These are specialized service providers. To do this, you send the MTS-K

• the name and address of the price reporter
• a contact person with
  • telephone number
  • fax number, if applicable
  • e-mail address, if applicable

If you use the services of a price reporter, only this person may report the following information to MTS-K:

• Basic data on the filling stations
• Prices for the fuel types:
  • Super E5
  • Super E10
  • diesel

You also authorize the price reporter to accept all feedback from MTS-K.

No documents are required.

• You are the holder of pricing authority (PHI) for fuels or act on behalf of a PHI.

No legal remedy is provided for.

You can provide initial information on the price reporter in the form Registration form for parties subject to reporting obligations.

• Enter your price reporting details in the electronic registration form of the Market Transparency Unit for Fuels. The form guides you step by step through the required information.
• Submit the form electronically.
• The MTS-K will check your details and contact you if there are any queries or additional claims.

If you register by post, e-mail or fax and provide information on the price report in this context:

• Enter your price reporting details in the electronic registration form of the Market Transparency Unit for Fuels.
• A PDF will be generated which you can print out and send to the MTS-K.
• The MTS-K will check your details and contact you if there are any queries or additional claims.

You must submit the data immediately when the price reporting service starts working for you.
