Apply for grants from the "Environmental protection and safety" funding program for road haulage companies

With the "Environmental protection and safety" funding program, eligible road haulage companies can receive grants for measures in the areas of safety and environmental protection.

If your company operates in the road haulage sector, you can apply for grants from the "Environmental protection and safety", formerly "De-minimis", funding program for the following categories:

• Purchase of equipment and facilities,
• other measures in the field of environmental protection and safety,
• Advice on environmental and safety-related issues of company management.

• Application including vehicle documents

• inspection form

• Notification of change, if applicable

• You are the owner or keeper of a heavy commercial vehicle.
• Your vehicle is intended exclusively for the transportation of goods.
• The technically permissible maximum laden mass of your vehicle is more than 3.5 tons.

• Appeal to the administrative court

Submit your application online to the Federal Office for Logistics and Mobility (BALM).

• Call up the "Environmental protection and safety" (formerly De-minimis) funding program in the BALM application portal.
• First save the blank forms on your computer .
  • Note: You can only open the forms with the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader.
• Fill in the forms according to the instructions.
• Register in the application portal and then log in there.
• Print out the control form, sign it and then scan it as an attachment.
• Then upload the application documents.
• BALM will check your application and then send you a grant notification or a rejection notice

In order to receive funding, the measures must be carried out after the application has been approved and no later than five months after receipt of the grant notification, but no later than December 31 of the year in which you received the grant notification.

There are no costs.
