Submit interim proof or proof of use of funds for funded projects from the "Political Foundations" funding program

If your political foundation receives project funding from the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), you must submit interim reports and proof of use to the BMZ.

If your political foundation receives project funding from the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), you must inform the BMZ once a year about the development of the project.

To do this, send the BMZ an interim report consisting of a factual report and a numerical report by April 30 at the latest. For the last year of the funding period, you can integrate the interim report into the where-used list.

The proof of use consists of a factual report and a numerical proof.

A factual report contains in particular

• a description of the use of the grant and shows changes in the project-relevant framework conditions and in the project concept and organization
• a systematic comparison of the planned objectives of a project or sub-project with the direct effects achieved using indicators or other parameters

In the numerical evidence, you show all income and expenditure in accordance with the structure of the financing plan.

The BMZ reserves the right to request further information on a project if required.

• Alternatively, you can print out the completed online form and send it and the documents to the BMZ by post.
• The BMZ will check your documents and contact you if anything is unclear or information is missing.

The verification of where-used lists/interim statements is an internal administrative matter. The foundations are not informed of the result. Submitting the proof of use is not comparable to processing an application.
