Product Contact Points for Construction
Under the Construction Products Regulation (Regulation (EU) No. 305/2011), Product Contact Points for Construction have been established across Europe to allow companies and citizens to understand the legal situation in the state they want to market their construction product in.
Description
The Product Contact Point for Construction provides information on the use of construction products in Germany and on the relevant technical rules for the planning, dimensioning and execution of buildings.
Here you can also find information on the principle of mutual recognition and the application of Regulation (EU) No 2019/515 in Germany. You will find links to the contact details of independent testing laboratories and certification bodies notified to the European Commission, which are known as notified bodies for the assessment and verification of constancy of performance of construction products (AVCP, Assessment and Verification of Constancy of Performance).
We also provide information on how the applicable EU harmonisation legislation on construction products is being transposed and implemented in Germany (Regulation (EU) 2019/1020).
The Construction Products Regulation (Regulation (EU) No 305/2011) established Product Contact Points for Construction across Europe to allow businesses and citizens to quickly get an idea of the legal situation in the Member State in which they wish to market their construction product.
We will inform you about national regulations that you must observe as an economic player in the construction industry in Germany.
