Request certificate of paid contributions from the Agricultural Pension Fund

Do you need a certificate of your contributions paid to the pension fund for your income tax return? You can request this certificate free of charge.

Contributions to the Agricultural Pension Fund are tax-deductible to a certain extent.

This applies to contributions by

• farmers,
• their spouses or partners, and family members working with them.
• family members working with them.

If you need proof of the contributions you have paid, you can request a corresponding contribution certificate for the relevant tax year.

You can also request the certificate if you are not currently insured but were insured in the past. For very long periods in the past, a certificate may no longer be possible.

You can use this certificate, for example, when claiming expenses for old-age provision as part of the special expenses deduction for your income tax return.

However, we will not send the certificate without your request, because there is no legal obligation for the pension fund to issue the certificate regularly for all insured persons.

You are or were subject to compulsory insurance with the Agricultural Pension Fund. You have received a corresponding notice. This applies to:

• Farmers,
• their spouses or life partners, as well as family members
• family members working with them.

The contribution statement is for information purposes only. Appeals are only possible against the underlying notices on the start and end of the insurance obligation.

You can request the contribution certificate in writing, in person or by telephone:

In writing:

• Write to the Social Insurance for Agriculture, Forestry and Horticulture (SVLFG) by mail or e-mail, indicating your LSV membership number.

In-person consultation:

• Make an appointment at the Agricultural Retirement Fund or a Social Insurance for Agriculture, Forestry and Horticulture (SVLFG) counseling center.

By phone:

• Call the service number of the Social Insurance for Agriculture, Forestry and Horticulture and ask to be connected to the person in charge of your case.

Note: A person you trust can also request the contribution certificate for you. To do so, please submit a corresponding power of attorney to your agricultural pension fund. As long as the power of attorney is valid, your Landwirtschaftliche Alterskasse will only contact your authorized person.

You do not have to meet any deadlines.

You will receive the contribution certificate usually within 1 week.

There is no fee for requesting the contribution certificate.
