Request current insurance data from the Künstlersozialkasse

If you are insured through the Künstlersozialkasse (KSK), you can obtain information about your compulsory insurance and your contribution account from the Künstlersozialkasse at any time. To do this, you must send a request to the KSK.

The Künstlersozialkasse stores and maintains your insurance data and manages your contribution account.

On request, the KSK will answer questions

• about your insurance status,
• the data currently available,
• your contribution account (account balance/received payments)
• and the basis for calculation.

You do not need to submit any additional documents.

• They are or were generally subject to compulsory insurance via the Artists' Social Security Fund.

An appeal is not possible.

Contact the Künstlersozialkasse with your information request online, by post or by telephone.

Online notification:

• Call up the online form on the federal portal verwaltung.bund.de. This will guide you step by step through the necessary information, which you can enter electronically.
• Note: You will need a valid ELSTER certificate to log in to the online form. Alternatively, you can use your electronic ID document.
• It will take you about 10 minutes to complete the online application.
• First enter your personal details, including your insurance number. You will find this on the letter from the Künstlersozialkasse in the top right-hand corner.
• On the next page, you can select which information or documents you require.

Notification by post:

• Let the Künstlersozialkasse know what information or documents you require.
• Please also state your insurance number. You will find this in the top right-hand corner of the letter from the Künstlersozialkasse.

The Künstlersozialkasse will send you the requested information in writing.

Notification by telephone:

• Please have your insurance number ready. You will find it in the top right-hand corner of the letter from the Künstlersozialkasse.
• Call the Künstlersozialkasse.
• Tell the Künstlersozialkasse what information or documents you need.
• As a rule, you will receive the requested information immediately verbally.
• If you also need the information in writing, it will be sent to you by post after the telephone call.
• If it is not possible to obtain information by telephone immediately, the Künstlersozialkasse will either call you back or send you the requested information in writing.

There is no deadline.

There are no costs.
