Change or add authorized representatives, contact persons and personal data in the accreditation procedure

If you wish to add or change master data such as authorized representatives or contact persons in your current accreditation procedure, you can arrange this with the Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle GmbH (DAkkS).

The Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle GmbH (DAkkS) is responsible for checking and assessing conformity assessment bodies.

If you are in an ongoing accreditation procedure, you have the option of changing master data of your organization that is already relevant to accreditation.

This can be the master data of the authorized representatives and their contact details such as e-mail addresses or telephone numbers.

You can also change the data of the contact person for planning and implementation as well as other contact persons in the respective accreditation procedure.

• Notification of change
• Proof of authorization to represent the organization, e.g. extract from the commercial register or power of attorney
  • Possible formats: Excel, Word, PDF, image formats such as JPEG and PNG

They are currently undergoing an accreditation procedure with the DAkkS.

No legal remedy is provided for.

You can change your organization's accreditation-relevant master data that has already been entered by e-mail or online.

Online change:

• Call up the accreditation portal of the German Accreditation Body (DAkkS-PORT).
• You are registered and logged in to DAkkS-PORT and have access to the stored data.
• You can adjust the relevant information in the portal.
• You upload proof of the adjustment, for example an extract from the commercial register, to the portal.
• The change is processed directly in the system. You will receive online confirmation of the change notification.

Change by e-mail:

• You send the change notification to DAkkS by e-mail.
• You will be informed when the data has been entered.

There is no deadline.

The modification of master data at the request of the accredited body is a chargeable service within the scope of accreditation. The costs are calculated after completion of the corresponding procedure on the basis of the actual time spent. Tariff items 7.1 and 7.2 of the schedule of fees apply.
