Apply for a digital accreditation symbol

If you wish to use a digital accreditation symbol, you must submit a corresponding application to the Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle GmbH (DAkkS).

In Germany, the Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle GmbH (DAkkS) is responsible for inspecting and assessing conformity assessment bodies.

The accreditation notice grants you permission to use the accreditation symbol for your conformity assessment body.

The accreditation symbol confirms that a conformity assessment has been carried out in compliance with all relevant accreditation requirements. It may be used as proof of accreditation in test reports, calibration certificates, certificates and inspection reports within the scope of accreditation.

To use a digital accreditation symbol for your conformity assessment body, you must submit an application to the DAkkS.

To be able to use a digital accreditation symbol, you must be an existing customer of DAkkS with a valid, issued accreditation.

The application is valid for one conformity assessment body at a time.

• Authorization document from DAkkS and d-Trust

• You are an existing customer and have a valid accreditation from the Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle GmbH (DAkkS).

• Contradiction

You submit an application for the use of the digital accreditation symbol by e-mail:

• You complete the application form electronically in accordance with the mandatory requirements and send it by e-mail to the Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle GmbH (DAkkS).
• At the same time, you send the original "authorization document" by post to the DAkkS.
• DAkkS checks the application together with the responsible technical department.

There is no deadline.
