Apply to the job center for reimbursement of costs for trial employment of severely disabled people and people with equivalent status
If your company wants to employ severely disabled people and people with equivalent status on a temporary basis as part of a trial employment, you can, under certain conditions, be reimbursed for the personnel costs for a maximum of three months.
Description
Severely disabled people and people with equivalent status should be given the opportunity to prove their strengths and abilities on the job market. As a company, you can facilitate the entry or re-entry into working life with a trial employment. During this time, all participants can try out working together for up to three months in a fixed-term employment relationship.
The Jobcenter can reimburse you for the costs you incur during this trial employment. This usually includes
- Wage/salary costs, including the employer's social security contributions and
- other benefits based on statutory or collectively agreed regulations
- Contributions and contributions to the employers' liability insurance association
The Jobcenter in whose district the person you wish to employ on a trial basis has their main residence or habitual abode at the start of the trial employment relationship is responsible. The job center is also responsible for existing employment relationships if the person you wish to employ on a trial basis receives supplementary benefits in accordance with the Second Book of the German Social Code (SGB II).
Note: The Jobcenter is only responsible if the person is severely disabled or equivalent.
In the case of people with disabilities, the application must be submitted to the relevant employment agency, unless another rehabilitation agency is responsible.
