Care support centres (PSP)
A care support centre (PSP) is a local contact point for people in need of care and their relatives, as close to home as possible.
The care support centres act as a signpost. They provide information on the wide range of services available for people in need of care and their relatives. They also provide information and advice on benefits from the social security systems.
The staff at a care support centre know almost all the care, support, advice and other support services available in their catchment area. They coordinate and network these diverse services.
The care support centres involve self-help and voluntary work by citizens as well as church and social institutions and organisations.
