Weapons possession card

If you want to buy a gun, you will need a gun ownership card. The authorization to purchase ammunition must be entered separately. The gun ownership card does not include permission to carry the weapon outside your home or business premises, your pacified property or a shooting range. You are only entitled to do this with the "weapons license" in conjunction with the weapons possession card.

The gun ownership card is issued by the weapons authority in your district administration or the administration of your district-free city. There you can also find out about the documents and forms you need to bring with you.
