Bulky waste is collected and disposed of separately from household waste. You can have your bulky waste collected by the responsible waste management company.

Bulky waste can be collected on fixed collection dates or on request.

In Hesse, the waste disposal authorities are the municipalities belonging to the district, the independent cities and the rural districts. According to the Closed Substance Cycle Waste Management Act, those responsible for waste disposal are obliged to inform and advise their citizens on all questions relating to waste disposal.
