Proof of disposal confirmation

Are you subject to the obligation to provide proof of hazardous waste and must obtain a certificate of disposal? Then, under certain conditions, you need an officially confirmed proof of disposal.

    Description

The disposal, i.e. the recovery or disposal including the collection and transport of hazardous waste, is subject to a verification procedure under waste law. Waste producers as well as holders, transporters, collectors and disposers of hazardous waste are obliged to do so. This does not apply to private households and small volume producers who do not generate more than two tonnes of hazardous waste per year.

If the disposal company is not approved for the privileged procedure and no collective proof from a carrier can be used because more than 20 t of the waste is generated at the point of generation in that year, an officially confirmed proof of disposal is required.
