Report damage to non-local state and district roads and their paths
If you discover damage on national roads, state roads or district roads outside built-up areas and their footpaths and cycle paths, you can report this.
Description
Damaged roads and paths can have serious consequences for all road users. Damaged areas include frost heave, potholes, major longitudinal and transverse unevenness, open joints and cracks as well as poor drainage on the road surface. By reporting this, you are actively contributing to road safety.
The federal state is responsible for state roads (in Bavaria and Saxony: state roads) outside a town and their accompanying roads. In the case of district roads outside built-up areas, responsibility lies with the district or the independent city.
After your report, the responsible authority will check whether and when the danger spot can be made safe and repaired.
