If you operate a cremation facility for human corpses, you must continuously measure and record the air pollutant emissions for certain air pollutants.
You must prepare a measurement report on the evaluation of the measurements every year or have it prepared by an accredited measuring institute.

Prerequisites
- You are the operator of a facility for the cremation of human corpses.
- You have put your facility into operation.
Basis for legal action
Legal remedy
None. The administrative service is a real act against which no legal remedy is possible.
Procedure
- You evaluate the continuous measurements of each calendar year.
- You prepare a measurement report on the results.
- You send the measurement report to the responsible immission control authority within the prescribed period.

In Hesse, fees for the official inspection of measurement reports are charged on a time basis.

- If you operate your crematorium without continuous measurements, you are committing an administrative offense.
- This administrative service does not apply to animal crematoria.
