As a rule, curb lowering or other adjustments to the road are carried out by the competent road construction authority itself or by a company commissioned by it. In exceptional cases, these can also be carried out by a company commissioned by the resident himself with the consent of the competent authority. Your city or municipality will provide you with information on this.

All costs for the changes to the road must be borne by you. This also applies to administrative costs, which may be determined by the competent road construction authority.

You apply for the structural modification of the road with all the necessary documents to the responsible road construction authority. Once the application has been submitted, it will be checked whether the application is complete. If required documents are still missing, you will receive a notification from the competent authority. An on-site appointment may also be necessary. It will then be examined whether there are reasons not to change the road. After reviewing your application, you will receive a decision.
