The competent lower building supervisory authority may extend the preliminary building permit by a maximum of one year at a time if the legal requirements have not changed in the meantime and the application has been received by the lower building supervisory authority before the deadline. The extension of the preliminary building permit is subject to a fee.

An objection may be lodged against the decision of the authority within one month of notification.

• If the factual and legal situation has not changed, there is nothing to prevent an extension of up to one year. The renewal is subject to a fee.
