Description
The Darmstadt and Kassel regional councils are responsible for private pilot licenses (without instrument flight) for airplanes and helicopters, glider pilot licenses and balloon pilot licenses and light aircraft pilot licenses (LAPL) for airplanes and helicopters.
Flying schools can register applicants for a pilot license for airplanes and helicopters according to visual flight rules (PPL(A) and PPL(H)), light aircraft (LAPL(A) and LAPL(H)), gliders (SPL) and free balloons (BPL) with the competent authority through the flying school.
