Youth falconry hunting license Re-issue of annual hunting license

If the youth falconry license has been withdrawn by the issuing authority, you can reapply for it after the specified retention period has expired.

If you would like to hunt in Germany but are not yet 18 years old, you can only be issued a youth falconry hunting license in your name. If your annual hunting license has been revoked, you can reapply for it at the competent authority for your place of residence after the specified retention period has expired.

You can submit the application in writing or, if available, online.

If you submit the application in writing, complete it and submit it by post or in person to the competent authority.

The application and the evidence to be provided will be checked for completeness and correctness.

If you meet all the requirements, you will be issued a youth falconry hunting license.

The annual hunting license for young people is valid for a maximum of two consecutive hunting years. The hunting year begins on 01.04. and ends on 31.03..

• The youth hunting license only entitles you to hunt when accompanied by a person with parental authority or a supervisor appointed in writing by the person with parental authority. The accompanying person must be experienced in hunting.
• The youth hunting license does not entitle you to participate in group hunts.
