Alien falconry hunting license Issue of annual hunting license

If you are a foreigner wishing to hunt in Germany and have not passed a German falconry examination, you must carry a foreigner's falconry license in your name.

If you are a foreign national and wish to hunt with falcons and gryphons in Germany, you will need a German falconry and hunting license in your name. If you do not provide proof of a German falconry and hunting examination, you can apply for annual hunting licenses for foreigners under certain conditions.

You can submit the application in writing or, if available, online.

If you submit the application in writing, complete it and submit it by post or in person to the competent authority.

The application and the supporting documents to be provided will be checked for completeness and correctness.

If you meet all the requirements, you will be issued a foreigner falconry hunting license.

The annual hunting license is valid for a maximum of three consecutive hunting years. The hunting year begins on 01.04. and ends on 31.03..
