    Description

    The Darmstadt and Kassel regional councils are responsible for private pilot licenses (without instrument flight) for aircraft and helicopters, glider pilot licenses and balloon pilot licenses and light aircraft pilot licenses (LAPL) for aircraft and helicopters.

    Citizens can submit applications for the initial issue of a private pilot license PPL(A), a light aircraft pilot license aircraft LAPL(A) or helicopter LAPL(H), a private pilot license helicopter PPL(H), a glider pilot license SPL or a balloon pilot license BPL.
