If you catch eels for commercial purposes, you must send written records of each catch as an annual report to the upper fisheries authority.
Description
If you catch eels for commercial purposes, you must document every day you catch them.
You can submit the annual report using the online service or send your records to the authorities by post.
In your annual report, you must state the catch area, the catch weight of the eels, the percentage of silver eels as well as the type, number and deployment time of the fishing gear used.

Procedure
If you would like to submit your annual declaration online:
- You do not need to register or create an account.
- You fill in the mandatory fields of the online service.
- You will receive a confirmation email to the email address you provided
If you would like to submit the annual return by post:
- You use the sample template to summarize your fishing days and check your details for completeness.
- You then send this to the upper fisheries authority.
- You are obliged to keep the documents for up to five years.
- The upper fisheries authority receives your records and checks them.
- If necessary, questions will be clarified with you directly.
- The annual report is then entered in the fishing register by the authority.
