The "Broadband Portal" online service is available to telecommunications companies and their service providers.

For you as a company in the telecommunications industry, the digitalized application process means a considerable simplification. Instead of having to consider different forms and procedures in each municipality, as was previously the case, the digital application portal provides you with a standardized approval procedure for all connected road authorities.

As all notifications and documents are processed in digital form, they ensure seamless processing. Thanks to the clear presentation in the broadband portal, you can see all submitted applications at a glance.

In addition, you have the option of communicating directly with the responsible persons at the road authorities. This shortens the response times and you will receive an answer to your request in a short time. This should also speed up the approval process.

• You are the owner or operator of public telecommunications networks.

An objection may be lodged against the decision within one month of notification. The objection may be lodged in writing, by minute or electronically by e-mail with a qualified electronic signature.

You can apply for line relocations in writing or online.

The process begins with the application by you as a telecommunications company and ends with the approval notice from the infrastructure manager and its digital provision.

You can also submit a preliminary request first.

• As a telecommunications company, you receive access to the system via your ELSTER company account, create your application there and, if necessary, submit further documents via the broadband portal.
  • To do this, select the type of application.
  • Information on the implementation of the construction measure and the location/location must be entered.
  • Draw in the route of the line.
  • Attachments, such as statements or other documents relating to the construction project, can be added in the last step.
• The infrastructure manager can process the application in the system by checking that it is correct and complete.
• The approval notice is made available to the telecommunications company in the system.

There is no deadline for applicants.

If the application is particularly difficult, the processing time may be extended by one month. You will be informed of this.

There are various options for electronic payment, depending on the road operator.

If application documents are subsequently submitted or amended, the deadlines for processing by the infrastructure manager and, in particular, the deadlines for fictitious approval begin anew.
