Receiving complaints about the supervision of employees of the Hessian Ministry of the Interior, for Security and Homeland Security (HMdI) and about the management level of subordinate authorities in the area of responsibility of the HMdI.
Description
A supervisory complaint is directed against possible misconduct on the part of a civil servant. It is justified if it is proven that the official has personally culpably violated his/her official duties. This may be the case if he/she deliberately violates applicable law or behaves inappropriately in an official context.
The HMdI is only responsible for complaints relating to its own staff and the management of subordinate authorities. Subordinate authorities are

No further appeal may be lodged against the decision on a complaint to the supervisory authority as an informal legal remedy. The right to take legal action remains unaffected.
