Notification and proof of combustion plant registration

If you operate a medium-sized combustion, gas turbine or internal combustion engine installation, you must notify the competent authority.

    Description

As the operator of a combustion plant with a rated thermal input of at least 1 MW and less than 50 MW, you are obliged under the Ordinance on Medium-Sized Combustion, Gas Turbine and Internal Combustion Engine Plants (44th BImSchV) to notify the competent authority of the operation of such a combustion plant. It should be noted that the operation of a newly constructed combustion plant must be notified to the competent authority before commissioning and the operation of an existing combustion plant by December 1, 2023 using an electronic form sent by email. The competent authority checks the information and enters the combustion plant in the Hesse-wide plant register.
