As an employer, you can apply for an extension of the inspection deadlines for your operational systems requiring monitoring.

Depending on the individual case, the extension of inspection deadlines is possible on request for the following systems:

• Elevator systems,
• Installations in potentially explosive atmospheres,
• pressure systems,
• cranes,
• liquefied gas systems,
• mechanical equipment for event technology

Responsibility lies with the regional councils.

• Decision in individual cases

As a rule, at the earliest after the first periodic inspection. If there is sufficient knowledge about the operational influences on the service life, the extension of the inspection period can also be approved before the first periodic inspection.

Fees and expenses are incurred.
