Description
If you operate a veterinary medicine cabinet as a veterinarian, you must report this to the competent authority. This also applies to changes and discontinuation of the veterinary medicine cabinet.
Note: The operation of veterinary medicine dispensaries is personal. However, the operator can be represented by a veterinarian.

Basis for legal action
Procedure
You can make the notification in person or in writing to the competent authority, which will issue you with a pharmacy certificate. An officer will inspect the veterinary medicine cabinet during an on-site visit.
Costs
The fees are currently EUR 45.00 plus EUR 3.20 for each additional copy requested (as of June 2014).
