Special telephone numbers; hotline of the Central Allowance Office for Retirement Assets (ZfA) of the German Pension Insurance (Deutsche Rentenversicherung)
Description
The hotline staff provide general information on allowance-subsidised old-age provision, ("Riester pension"). This concerns general and technical questions on private old-age provision, in particular:
- on the old-age provision contract
- on allowance eligibility and allowance calculation,
- the German Home Pensions Act (Wohnriester) and
- pension equalisation, etc.
Furthermore, the ZfA provides general information on procedures (e.g. the granting of allowances or the reclaiming of allowances in the case of review procedures or so-called harmful use).
The ZfA cannot and may not provide specific advice on individual cases. This includes individual questions about the "best product" or the "best provider".
