Crisis telephone of the Hessian state government

Supra-local damage events require effective cross-departmental and cross-level decisions by the responsible authorities.
For this reason, the Hessian state government has set up a central crisis unit to improve the uniform management and coordination of hazard prevention at the level of the highest state authorities as well as the prevention, preparation of defence and management of crises, major damage situations and disasters of state-wide importance.

In the event of a crisis, the public and the population receive up-to-date crisis information via a citizens' telephone.
