Transfer bank details to the Federal Central Tax Office
If you would like to send your bank details to the Federal Central Tax Office for possible future payments, there are various ways to do this.
Description
The federal government has created a payment channel to enable direct state payments to citizens in the future. For this purpose, the Federal Central Tax Office (BZSt) requires your bank details.
If you send your bank details to the BZSt, they will be stored there. The storage of your bank details is not associated with any registration, waiting list or similar for possible future payments. Whether there will be such payments, who will receive them and how the procedure will work depends on what measures the legislator decides in future.
The BZSt only stores the last bank details provided. If your bank details change, a new notification is sufficient.
