Communicate indications of antitrust violations

If you have indications of possible infringements of cartel law you can send them to the Bundeskartellamt as a submission or complaint.

Submissions and complaints are informal messages that you can send by

• mail,
• telephone or
• e-mail

to the Bundeskartellamt.
The Bundeskartellamt will examine your submission or complaint and, under certain circumstances, initiate an investigation under cartel law.
You have no legal claim to the initiation of proceedings.

• cartels or
• abuses of power

you can use the Bundeskartellamt's anonymous whistleblowing system (BKMS) for this purpose.

For your submission or complaint please contact the Bundeskartellamt in writing or by telephone.

• Send the Bundeskartellamt your information on possible infringements of cartel law. You have the following options:

  • telephone or
  • e-mail
• Your submission or complaint will be forwarded to the competent office at the Bundeskartellamt.
• The Bundeskartellamt will examine your submission or complaint and contact you if it has any queries.
• The Bundeskartellamt will then initiate an investigation under cartel law on its own initiative.
