Wir sind Ihre Industrie- und Handelskammer für Stadt und Kreis Offenbach. Wir sind der Dienstleister für Unternehmer und Unternehmerinnen der regionalen Wirtschaft sowie Partner und Fürsprecher. Wir sind eine Körperschaft des öffentlichen Rechts und sind fachkundige Partner in wirtschaftlichen Fragen für Ministerien, Gerichte und Behörden. Gleichzeitig übernehmen wir auch staatliche und hoheitliche Aufgaben.
Damit wir objektiv und unabhängig für Sie agieren können, hat der Gesetzgeber Ihre Mitgliedschaft durch das Gesetz eingeführt. Alle Unternehmen aus Industrie-, Handel- und Dienstleistungsgewerbe in Stadt und Kreis Offenbach sind Mitglied in unserer IHK.
Unser oberstes Gremium ist die IHK-Vollversammlung. Dieses Unternehmensparlament wird alle fünf Jahre durch die Mitgliedsunternehmen der IHK Offenbach gewählt. In dieser Unternehmervertretung befinden sich ausschließlich unsere Mitgliedsbetriebe. Sie bestimmen die grundsätzliche Richtung Ihrer IHK und wählen das Präsidium.
Wir vertreten das Gesamtinteresse unserer ca. 35.000 Mitgliedsunternehmen mit etwa 176.000 beschäftigen Arbeitnehmerinnen und Arbeitnehmern. Zu unserem Kammerbezirk gehören: Stadt Offenbach am Main, Dietzenbach, Dreieich, Egelsbach, Hainburg, Heusenstamm, Langen (Hessen), Mainhausen, Mühlheim am Main, Neu-Isenburg, Obertshausen, Rödermark, Rodgau und Seligenstadt.
